charlueden-poetry:

Beneath what we call home
We have piled up rocks ahead of time,
A foundation of what we were
Before we became what we are now,
A foundation so solid
The storm will not make our walls collapse
once it arrives

I have learned that
there are several kinds of love -

The silent, the deafening,
The wounding, the healing,
The demanding, the kind.

I have learned that
There are several kinds of love -
And that ours is my favorite
Our love does not ask questions
Our love answers
